Andrea Grant Smith

Andrea is an experienced HR Consultant with over 18 years of generalist and specialist expertise across a wide range of industries, both locally and internationally. She has held senior and executive HR roles in small, medium, and large businesses, and brings a strategic yet hands-on approach to every engagement.

She holds a BSocSci and a BCom(Hons) from the University of Cape Town and has developed deep expertise in Payroll, Training and Development, Change Management, Industrial Relations, and Monitoring and Evaluation. Andrea is known for her logical, organised mindset, strong communication skills, and high level of professionalism.

Her consulting strength spans labour relations, performance management, remuneration and reward, and leadership development. With a focus on practical outcomes and long-term impact, Andrea builds trusted relationships and consistently delivers high-quality, client-focused solutions.

Andrea, a previous Managing Director of Human Alliance before the business was acquired in 2023 and became part of the Growthcurve Group, now provides payroll and HR consulting services to our clients from her new home in Canada.
